Wills Fashion Week In October

The dates for the 20th Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2013, Asia’s biggest fashion trade event, has been announced by Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). The event will take place from October 6 to10, 2012 at Hall No18, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The venue will once again recreate exquisite lounges, restaurants and welcoming café counters for the guests to indulge alongside the days filled with runway shows by best in Indian fashion.

A not-for-profit organization, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) is the apex fashion council of India and represented by over 300 designers. The council creates a platform for global fashion business. Rajasthan Fashion Week Kicks Off May 24

Rajasthan, the land of great warriors is turning into a fashionscape as the state is gearing up for the first edition of Rajasthan Fashion Week (RFW).

The three-day fashion gala will kick off in Jaipur on May 24 at a 7-star property, where as many as 30 national and international designers will participate, including designers like Shaahid Amir, Rohit Verma, Lina Tipnis, Poonam Patel, Shilpa Marigold, who will showcase their collections.

The event, which will be a grand celebration of fashion, is aiming to serve as a platform for the upcoming fashion designers, apart from opening more business avenues for international buyers.

Julia Bruchwitz, the international designer who is known for her luxury women’s wear collection, is also expected to grace the event with her participation. Makeup artist and hair stylist Bharat and Dorris will also participate in the show. India’s celebrated choreographer, Achla Sachdev will be choreographing the event.

Before the latest Bond film hits the big screen, fan are in for a special treat as the man who is taking charge of 007 for the final time has graced a very special edition of the new Empire magazine. Daniel Craig looks suave, sophisticated and stylish as he poses with his small firearm on the limited edition cover of the movie magazine. The black and white photograph was captured to celebrate Bond’s 50th anniversary and the magazine takes a look at key moments in the character’s past, including GoldenEye, Live and Let Die and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.

Craig may be the title star of the movie, but fans are just as keen to see a new face joining the team for the latest outing. Ralph Fiennes will play the role of a government agent that is called Gareth Mallory. A sneak peak of Fiennes in action as the agent in a new still from the movie was released which shows him pressed up at a door frame pointing his gun.
